The Entertainment of Google Analytics

Do y'all use Google Analytics?? I installed it on my blog when I first started but I really don't use it a ton. I do look at it every morning just to see the kind of traffic I got from the day before, but that's about it.

However, today I thought I would dive right in...and in turn share some of my findings with my lovely readers!

  • I had a big fat 5 readers my first day :)
  • 35% of my visitors are new!
  • My blog has been translated into 17 languages and has been visited by readers from 38 countries!
***Mainly the United States, Canada, Germany, Australia, & the United Kingdom***
  • In the US, my popularity is highest in Ohio, Illinois, California, Texas, and New York. Talk about a wide range of visitors!
  • The post that received the most comments was when I reached 100 followers... followed closely by when I answered your questions about food! Nice, ladies. I knew I loved you :)
  • Top searches that lead people to my blog include: jennyisluckinlove, lucky in love blog, i love the biggest loser, fun times in cleveland today, and giveaway.
  • Here's a list of some of my very favorite keywords that lead people to my blog:

slippy slappy (I'm pretty sure this has to do with my Dumb & Dumber post?? but why people search for that, I have no idea!)

"junior league" snobby (Just so you know, I do not think the Junior League is snobby. I am a member!)

i love at&t (I have no opinion about at&t)

im in love with a loser (I am most definitely NOT in love with a loser, but I've talked about "The Biggest Loser" so I'm chalking it up to that!)

  • My most viewed posts include:

Rocket? where the cake I made looked more like a goldfish cracker than a rocket ship...

A Little Modesty...Please! where I shared my struggles with wanting to be desirable for Hubs, but also of not wanting to be a stumbling block for others...

The Biggest Loser where I showed all of those awesome transformations during their makeover show...

And my personal fave, A Requiem for a Caveman, written by none other than my handsome husband! Way to go, honey! You're a "top" read!

I hope you've all enjoyed this little behind the scenes look at Lucky in Love! Who knew Google Analytics was full of such great information!?!

What do you guys use it for? Any tips for a girl who is really just making it up as she goes along?

XOXO
