Wedding Weekend #2

Friday morning, Matt and I headed back to Indy for the 2nd weekend in a row for a wedding. My bestest friend's brother was getting married...so practically family, you know?

We stopped at Sonic on the way for some breakfast...here's mine :)

Don't judge. It was delicious.

My parents were actually in Chicago last weekend, so it was such a nice change to be able to spend the whole time at home with one family. Our parents live within 10 minutes of each other...which is great...but sometimes it becomes an ordeal trying to balance a weekend between two families and friends who want to see you. It can be VERY busy. But Friday was wonderful. Matt golfed with his BFF and I napped and shopped with his parents. Later, we had dinner with Matt's BFF and his wife at our favorite Mexican restaurant...the day was a success!

I got to spend Saturday morning with one of my best girl friends who I hardly ever see, Erin! She is always super busy with work when I come home so we rarely get to spend any time together....but I got several hours this trip. It was so great to see her. She was my college roomie senior year...the best. year. ever. Do you have those friends who you can go months without seeing and then pick up exactly where you left off? Erin is that person.

Here we are at my wedding. We had just arrived to photographers already in our face..this was totally staged :)

Erin and Stephanie....two of my three roomies senior year....at my wedding. Isn't her smile just gorgeous! Love her!

After our visit, I may or may not have napped again...and then proceeded to get ready for the wedding. Here are some shots from the ceremony.

Married!

The reception was a lot of fun! The cake was really yummy and it was so wonderful to see so many of Jill's family that I have grown up with and haven't seen in so long!

Their send off included sparklers! What a perfect ending to a 4th of July wedding!

I am super excited to be staying in Cleveland for the next 3 weekends! We need a break....

Looks like a fantastic weekend! And the wedding looks absolutely gorgeous. :) And, sweetie, no judgements here on breakfast... I wish I could be claiming the same as mine this morning! :)

The sparklers is a great idea! Although, if that had been my wedding, I'd have for sure caught on fire. That's my kind of luck!
