I leave for Colorado in exactly 11 days to visit my brother and I could not be more excited. Never mind the fact that I have no idea where I will be sleeping because he doesn't have sheets...or what I will be eating because he has been to the grocery once in the past 6 months. Gotta love younger brothers who refuse to grow up!
I have been to Colorado only one other time and it was for a wedding. Matt's BFF Robert got married out there 2 years ago in June so we spent some extra time exploring. Enjoy some of my favorite pics from our trip!
Brother lives in Greeley and works for the University of Northern Colorado. Denver is about an hour away so I know we will be spending some time there. Have y'all ever been to Colorado? What are my must see and must do's??

These pictures are gorgeous! I've never been to Colorado but would love to go someday. Have fun on your trip!
We went to CO Jan of this year. We were in Denver for a day then drove up to Breckenridge for a few days of skiing.
Gorgeous pictures. Have a blast!
So fun! I've never been! Can't wait to hear all about it!
oh WOW! It is absolutely beautiful there! Amazing pictures!!
Colorado is on my top 5 places to go before we try for kids!
Oh what fun! I have been to Colorado, but only to go skiing, so I'm not much help in the what to see and what to do department.
I'm sure some other readers will have great suggestions, though!!
It is so gorgeous, I'm jealous!!=) Have a blast!
I've been to Colorado but only to Ski! We stayed in Breckenridge which is super cute. I'm not much help, ha! Have fun though!
ok seriously my response to this question would take 4 hours.
it's my favorite place on EARTH. it's where we got engaged, and went back for our 1-year anniversary, and hopefully plan to move there soon! You must go to estes park, up into Rock Mtn. national park, go to Boulder, Golden, see Red Rocks, if you have time - go down to Colorado Springs & see Garden of the Gods. There's Winter Park, which is an adorable ski town, and the bigger guys like Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge & Keystone. Dillon has the cutest brewery. Denver is so fun too - especially the LoDo (lower downtown) area!
Ok see - I just gave you 10 weeks worth of stuff to do, so I'll shut up before I overwhelm you!
I've never been! these pics are gorgous!
AAHH HOW EXCITING!!! I absolutely LOVE Colorado. In fact, I used to dream of some day owning the Denver Broncos so that I would have to live there. Sort of an EXTREMELY out-there reason to live there, but still. Can't wait to see more beautiful pictures from your time there!
Hi! I found your blog through D.A.R's blog over at http://d-and-z.blogspot.com/
I recently moved to Denver and LOVED looking through your pictures! I moved at the end of September so I just missed the hiking season (but still managed to get two hikes in before the snow arrived) so your pictures just got me even more excited for the Spring!
My advice is to definitely visit Fort Collins on more than one occasion! Since you'll be in Greeley you'll be relatively close. Old town Fort Collins is very fun with lots of restaurants and it's just a great atmosphere. Fort Collins was voted the best place to live by Money Magazine so that should say a lot -- it's a cute town, very family oriented and has it's very fun spots.
As mentioned, I live in Denver. I live downtown so I'm always discovering new places to visit and things to see! Apparently there is this realllly fun restaurant/bakery/cafe downtown called Bump & Grind. You might be weirded out by the idea, but I wanted to put it out there because I think it would be HILARIOUS to visit.. (and I plan on going very soon myself!)

Basically, you go there for breakfast and are served by fake drag queens! I've heard it's a very comical experience and great fun for a fun family, brothers/sisters, friends, etc.
Also - LoDo is great to visit. There are several good restaurants and sports bars! The 16th Street Mall in Denver is this awesome strip downtown where the road is blocked off and you have restaurants and neat stores on each side of the road along with horse drawn carriages, various dance acts/singers, etc. Very cultural and fun :)
Have a great time!
I've been to Denver - in the airport only though.
I hope you have so much fun.
And I love the picture of Matt with the poop. That is poop isn't it?
That sounds like it's going to be amazing!!
I was in Divide, CO for Christmas in December 2007 - it's just such a beautiful place!!
ha ha! Love the pic of your hubs and the poop! Too funny!
I've never been but it sounds like a fun trip! Better remember to pack some sheets though! :)
Love the last pic! Oh and the poop pic -- classy! :P I've never been to Colorado, but hope to make it there someday -- I know it's just beautiful out there!
I loooooove Colorado. I came thisclose to moving there 6 years ago and sometimes, I wish I had!! I don't know much about Colorado, but, I love Boulder. Just wandering around all the shops and resturants in Boulder is so much fun.
Have such a great time!
Those pictures are gorgeous!!! Have such a wonderful time! (Can I go in your luggage??) :)
How fun and what pretty pictures!! Love them! I just love Colorado. We are going back in Jan/Feb for a ski trip and I could not be more excited!!
Oh and your comment about making the chocolate covered Ritz and adding crushed peppermints on top - SOUNDS AMAZING!!
Ooo- Colorado! I live just outside of Boulder. If you are looking for something free- go tour Celestial Seasonings. Even if you don't really like tea- it is pretty cool. I don't think I have ever been to Greely- Isn't that sad?
Beautiful pics!! wow! I've been wanting to go, I can't wait to hear all about it!
