Family Game Night!! Finally to the part of my time at home that I was looking forward to. We're through the tough part...we made it through entertaining friends and family for so long...watching my poor grandma as she buried her sweet, sweet husband of 55 years...listening to the gun shots of the Color Guard as they honored my grandpa as he was buried...trying to pull myself together enough to do a reading during the actual funeral service...

Now I can relax. We're a big board game family...I mean...seriously huge. It's a typical night at my parent's house to find all of us gathered around the table...laughing hysterically with each other (okay...mostly at each other) with good wine and good food. Did I mention I SUCK on my diet at home?? :) Balderdash is on tap for tonight...

Hope everyone's week is going well....I'll try to catch up with your bloggies as soon as I can!!

XOXO

I love game nights...sadly, I can't convince anyone to play along with me anymore! It worked when I was like 5 and playing sorry and candyland, but now that I'm 25 my family and friends are like "what's your obsession with board games?" ...grr. I'm glad you all had a fun family night though!! xoxo

Aww sweet girl you are so brave to make a speech. I would have loved to do that at my granddad's funeral but I don't think I would have been able to. So glad you are home with your family and able to enjoy your time together! Have fun with your game night!

Oh girl you crack me up. I'm glad that despite all of the yuckiness of this trip you are having some QT with the family.

Praying for you all. Have as many laughs as you can.

I love game nights!! What are your favorites?? I LOVE Catch Phrase and my new fav is Blokus. So fun! I'm glad things went well today. Enjoy the rest of your time with your family!

p.s. One of my boyfriend's friends is getting married in Indianapolis this summer. I think we might make a "weekend" out of it. Maybe you can suggest some fun things for us to do =)
