Back Home Again....In Indiana

Today's the day I'm headed home. I took the rest of the week off which I am ridiculously excited about. Do you think they can lay me off while I'm gone...? Hm.

Anyway, as I sit here this morning, I'm thinking of all of the things on my to do list. (I love making lists by the way. Sometimes I write things down that I have already done...just to cross them off. I have a disease...I know)

  1. I have yet to pack for our trip back home
  2. I'm supposed to be getting ready to go to the gym (My diet/workouts suffer tremendously when I'm home...I have no gym...none of my own food...and have other people cooking for me. I'm actually getting quite anxious about it even as I type this!)
  3. I have a list of a few rooms to tidy up before we leave
  4. Shower up and getting all dressed for the showing (Matt is working a 1/2 day today...so we'll be cutting it close getting to the showing on time. I figured it might be best if I was all ready to go...as not to stress myself out even more!)

Honestly, I'm really not in the mood to do any of these things. I'm enjoying sitting on the couch with my laptop and loving the fact that I am here and not arriving at work this very moment. It's so peaceful this early in the day...

But...without further ado...I must go and get my list-o-crap done...before the whole morning has passed me by. In just under 12 hours...we will be saying goodbye to my Grandpa and having to entertain guests for a good 3 hours...yeah! Then...back to do it again for the funeral tomorrow. I've got a long couple days ahead of me...but they will be shared with friends and family which makes the daunting task of letting go of a loved one seem bearable. Thank y'all so much for all of your kind words and prayers for my family. They mean so much.

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week! Hopefully I'll get a chance to check in soon!

XOXO

I love list-making, too! Crossing off stuff you've already done is a GREAT feeling. If you're sick, then I guess we'll be in the psych ward together :) Hope you have a super productive day. Enjoy the rest of your week off!

oh.my.gosh. I thought I was the only person who got a personal thrill of not just making a list but writing things I have already done just so I could cross them off :) ah the little things in life.

Anyways, good luck with everything you're about to face/do. And enjoy your time off! so fun!
