We are utterly slow at work. I have already made my grocery list for the next two weeks, written out a schedule for my cake decorating activities for the week, planned my workouts, and caught up on all of my blogs. What's a girl to do at work when there is no actual work to be done?
My solution:
List some of my go to healthy snack foods that I eat on a daily basis. At first I was going to list the things that I am craving right now...but I decided against posting pictures of cupcakes, candy corn pumpkins, and Oreo truffles. Your waistlines can thank me later.
For breakfast, I always have cereal. Always have, probably always will...for one reason. It's easy. Oh...and I'm lazy.
My current cereal is:
It is okay. I probably won't buy it again. I'm not a huge fan of the Fiber One cereals, but I had a coupon. I'm just hoping there are some Frosted Flakes left in the house when I'm done with this box.
I eat breakfast just before 5 a.m. so my morning snack comes around 8:45 a.m. My staples are currently:
I usually add a cup of fresh fruit to my yogurt to punch it up a little.
For lunch, I'm currently on a sandwich kick. I either do salami or chicken breast with a 35 calorie/slice bread and a very little spread of this to eliminate the dryness:
I've also been enjoying low fat cottage cheese, one of the billions of apples I have leftover from apple picking, and these:
I have an afternoon snack when I get home from the gym and then my husband and I eat dinner around 7:30 p.m. when he gets home from work. My afternoon snacks vary, but I adore these...as they usually serve as my sweet of choice:

You eat breakfast before 5 am? Ouch. That hurts. I'm on a cereal kick right now, too. Normally I don't eat it, but lately I have been. Maybe you're rubbing off on me.
I love Go Lean cereal, yum! Also, I'm on a sandwich kick and I love putting some hummus on a turkey or chicken sandwhich, adds protein and great flavor!
special K cereal bars, triscuits... ummmm.. xxxooo
i used to love fiber one bars-- but they do a number on my tum tum. TMI?! :)
Yum. I agree with Lindsey- I LOVE Kashi's Go Lean cereals, they are so so good. As for snacks, I am totally a hummus and veggies or hummus and crackers kind of girl. I indulge in some yoghurt here and there, occasionally a protein bar from Special K or a handful or nuts. I'm also huge into fruits and berries, so they play in a lot too.I've never had a huge sweet tooth; most of my baking is done for Mr. J... so I stick to the hummus option most often.
I wish I had your eating habits! I do like fruit a lot, especially apples and pears. Almonds also are a great healthy snack. I have to admit that I don't always stick to my health plans very well...
MM! I really enjoy Target's fiber granola bar things and carrots. And for dessert - skinny cow ice cream truffle bar things!
Healthy snack? What's that?
i dont think any of my snacks are healthy. yikes. but i exercise alot so that will make up for it right???
Hummus and baby carrots!! Mmmmmmmmmmm
Annnd now I'm hungry.
I love the 100 calorie packs of popcorn--yum! I never burn it--I'm really obsessive about that, so, I eat it at work every single day at around 3:30. No joke, every day.
I also love the Special K multi grain crackers with laughing cow cheese...and blue tortilla chips... And.... and... and..
ohhh I love a yummy Fiber One bar!
i like garden cheddar goldfish that have vegetables in the serving. they are super good.

Seriously my waistline is thanking you. Pumpkin treats are a weakness of mine.
triscuits & cheese!
i have too many weaknesses (including sour patch kids) but for healthy snacks i stick to: pretzels, granola bars, apple slices, carrot sticks and celery with peanut butter. nothing too crazy!
Great post! Thanks for not tempting me with pictures of cupcakes and other types of goodness. :-) My snacks are usually apples, string cheese, granola bars or reduced fat wheat thins. I've been on a Subway kick lately for lunch or dinner.
you know i'm a snacker! i've been meaning do a snack post too! those fiber one bars look yuummy! and i want some salami now=) hope you're doing great girl!
