Back to the Grind

The rush of the holiday season is over and Matt and I are back from our trip to Indianapolis. We came home last night with a carload of goodies...but I guess 5 Christmas celebrations will do that to you! We are so blessed and thankful to be able to spend time with both of our families over the holidays. Although we no longer live there, both of our parents still live in Indianapolis about 10 minutes apart so we were able to squeeze in time with everyone during our trip.

But now that we are home and able to be much more comfortable in our king size bed (do you think there is a huge difference between a king and a queen...because I sure do!), I am looking forward to New Years and having two more days off this week to spend just the two of us. In fact, my darling husband is at home right this very minute enjoying some additional time off. I would say that I am super jealous (and I am...a little bit) but that boy works harder than anyone I have ever known and he deserves a break. I have a feeling our Play Station 3 is getting a workout :)

So I will be back tomorrow with updates and pictures from our time away. I hope everyone is enjoying their Monday (hopefully not at work like me!) and had just a fabulous Christmas!

We sleep in a full when we visit my p's or D's p's and we have a king at home. SO different. It was also nice to be back in our king!!

Looking forward to pics!!

We were in a full....talk about sleeping together!! We are only used to a Queen though...so it wasn't too bad. Glad you made it home safe!

We sleep in a full when we visit my grandparents and it is horrible! I elbowed poor Garth in the face one night!

OMG, there is a huge king v. queen difference. We're at my parents practically smashed together and killing each other in this queen. I miss the king!

I know what you mean about the beds. We've been squeezed on a couch and then in a hotel room and my parents guest bedroom. Tonight it's our amazing (I have nothing but good things to say about it) memory foam mattress.

OMG a queen size bed is SOOO teeny compared to a king! We can never go back, now!! :)

Can't wait to see pictures!

We have a queen and have to sleep in a double at my parents and it is NOT pretty. Evan ends up with bruises by the end of it because I get pretty violent if he crowds me :) .. I'm sure the same thing would happen in a queen if we were used to a king.

I just can't get into king size beds...I dunno. They are too big! We had king size beds at all of our hotels this past week...and every night, Matt and I would cuddle into one end and that was that. I'd wake up the next morning with an entire empty bed next to me! Boo. I will say that nothing compares to coming home and sleeping in your own bed with your own PILLOWS. I am finally sleeping well again!
