The Stockings Were Hung By The Chimney With Care

It's Christmas time in our household, so I thought I would give you a peek at what I get to look at everyday!

I tape up our Christmas cards all around the fireplace. As you can see...I haven't gotten very many yet :)

One of my friends at work made this for me last year. He and his wife make these boxes every year. So much detail!

This scene lines our TV. Hermie is everywhere! I love him!

And now..our tree!

I could not get a good picture of it to save my life....but hopefully you get the idea. It's huge. I love it more than any other tree I have ever seen. My trees never have a theme and that is exactly how I like them. I'm not into fancy ornaments or ribbon. I love how it looks with all of the different kinds of ornaments that mean so much to me! And with the tinsel that my papa taught me how to put on the tree...one strand at a time :)

This ladder used to be on my grandparents tree. I love it! Now I have added a few Hermies with the original elves and it is perfect!

Matt as a kid :) Ha! Can you believe he used to be blond?? Who knew?

This stays up all year long. Why? Because I heart cookies 12 months a year.

This tree was Matt's when he was a kid!

Hope you enjoyed the little glimpse into our home!

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Awww...your house looks fabulous! I am definitely the least spirited of all of our bloggy friends. We have basically no decorations up. Someday I'll feel like a real adult with a house of my own that I'll want to decorate...just not this year. :)

I love your Christmas spirit :) It's so lovely to find someone who loves all the paraphernalia as much as I do! Merry Christmas!
