What I'm Watching This Season

I've been a bit Christmas movie obsessed this year. I usually try to catch the old standbys....Rudolph, Charlie Brown, Frosty...that sort of thing. But this year I check the guide nightly just to make sure I am not missing any movies on Hallmark, ABC Family, AMC, or Lifetime.

Here are some of the ones I have already watched:

These will also soon be watched...as they are scheduled on my DVR.

To Grandmother's House We Go

I can't believe I just admitted that I am excited to see a Mary Kate and Ashely movie...but I used to love this one! I tried to watch some of it yesterday and it was entirely too lame to watch in front of my husband, so I think I will finish this today before he gets home.

Home Alone 2

But I cannot find one of my very favorite Christmas movies! It's called Christmas Every Day. Have you seen it?? Ha! It's similar to Groundhog day...and pretty cheesy...but I love it! Here's hoping it's on this year somewhere!

What are your must see movies??

ETA: So many people have mentioned Elf! I totally and completely love Elf and I cannot believe I forgot it! Love, Love, Love!

I've already watched Home Alone twice (and I bought it for Evan - shh). I've also watched the Grinch, Christmas Carol, Frosty, Rudolph and Deck the Halls. I still need to watch Miracle on 34th Street, Elf and a few others! I heart Christmas movies.

We watched Charlie Brown and Home Alone 2 last night. We saw Christmas Vacation last weekend. I still need to see It's A Wonderful Life, I have never seen it once!

I LOVE To Grandmother's House We Go! I grew up watching it and it has a special spot in my heart! I already watched it this season and might watch it again! I still own that and all my other MK&A movies! You better believe I am taking all those VHS tapes with me when I get married! Haha!

I've watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation pretty much every day for about 2 weeks - it's always on TV. Also love Elf, and Love, Actually! :)

I've been watching Christmas movies since November!! I love Little Women, While You Were Sleeping (both are pretty non-traditional...but I still love them at Christmas time!), Santa Clause 3, The Holiday Affair, Muppet Christmas Carol...an older one but goodie. :D

I can't believe I'd never heard of the Garfield Christmas movie...gotta check that out!

I've been a bit Christmas movie obsessed too! I also really love the Family Stone, and the Holiday.

One classic my family watches every year is A Christmas Story... "You'll shoot your eye out!"

I haven't been able to find Home Alone on TV yet and when I went to buy it at Target they were all out. I think I need to make a trip to Best Buy or order it online because I LOVE that movie and must see it before Christmas.

Confession: I've never seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I know, I know...it's a classic. Luckily, my husband has it waiting on the tivo for me.

"White Christmas" is my all time favorite!!! We just caught "Elf" last night, and Jay and I literally JUST set the dvr for "Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Who Stole Christmas." And the one that I used to watch constantly is, "A Christmas Story." But I haven't seen it yet this year :( I hope there's a 24 hr marathon...
