Dancing Queen

Have y'all seen this yet? I know it's been floating around for some time now...so please forgive my tardiness.

I'm pretty much obsessed with the idea of doing a dance number in a wedding. I knew, however, this would not be an option at my own. My bridesmaids...for sure...

I mean, come on! They're MY friends! And I'm a dancing machine! Well, at weddings at least. Or when I've had wine :)

The groomsmen...not so much.

I would've never been able to convince these men, especially my rhythm lacking groom to bust-a-move down the aisle. It just wasn't in the cards.

But for my brother's wedding....

I sent this video to him and here is how the conversation went:

Jenny: "Dude, we totally have to do this for your wedding!"

Mook: "We can do better than that!"

I love that guy :) Too bad he's not even dating anyone. But he did promise to show it to potential girlfriends on their first date...and if the girl is not into it...deal breaker.

Oh my gosh, I love it!! What a fabulous way to make an entrance at a wedding. And I'm loving that you've told your brother that he will be re-creating that at his wedding. LOVE IT!

I love that! Garth and I really wanted to learn the "Thriller" dance with our bridal party and do it as our entrance to the reception, but we only had a 5 month engagement and there just wasn't time. But I really wished we did after watching this video!

I love this video! My little sister (who is 19) sent it to me and my older sister and told us to start practicing now because she was doing this at her wedding and, like your brother, said it was a deal breaker if the guy wasn't into to it!

hahaha... Love that it is a deal breaker! :) I saw this video some time ago, but I never get sick of it. It was the topic of conversation amongst my circle of friends when we first saw it- even most of the guys were sappy and totally into it. What a great way to start a wedding. :)

My husbands best man was so shy he refused to get up and give a speech! If I had suggested doing this he probably would've left the country never to be seen again!
