A Phone Convo

When I got home Friday after work, I opened a letter from the hospital where I received all of my procedures for my "girlie parts" saying I was late on my payment. Um, no I was not. I'm in charge of the bills in our house for one reason. I pay them when I get them. I'm weirdly obsessed about it, pride myself on it even. Plus, I distinctly remembered paying this one...the amount was not low.

So I called up the insurance company. The convo went like this:

Automated Service: Please say the primary account holder's social security number. (Like I know Matt's Social Security Number?!?)

Me: Oh, shit!

Automated Service: You seem to be having trouble. I'll transfer you to a representative.

Tip: If you want to talk to a person right away, all you have to do is cuss at the automated system! Oops!

Ha! I love it. I usually just keep pressing zero repeatedly until the system gets mad at me and connects me to a real person. :)

Ha ha ha! Funny. Here my trick is when it asks you if you want english or french I press french. Even though I don't speak it very well, I know I will get to a rep right away and they are all bi-lingual anyway and so when they say bonjour I just say Hello and they switch to English. Works like a charm.

Hahah, that is AWESOME. Nine times out of ten, I'll press zero, but there is one company I've called, and I can't remember which one it was at this moment, but if you press zero repeatedly it disconnects you! ugh.

HA HA HA! This happens to me all the time! Everytime I call the Army hospital or anything to do with the Army I have to give out Robert's SSN...You think I would remember it by now...NOPE! I had to call his mom in AZ for it the one day because I couldn't reach him:p
