The Big Reveal!

Alright ladies...the cake is baked, decorated, and delivered! Here's the final product!

Sorry about the pictures...the lighting wasn't that great. But I never claimed to be a photographer did I?? :)

The girl I did it for really liked it...which makes me super happy. I'm thrilled when clients are as happy with the final product as I am.

So what does today hold?? Working out, a little cleaning...and then lots and lots of packing! I leave tomorrow at 9:15 am on the Megabus to Chicago. Have y'all ever taken the Megabus?? Don't make that face...it's not that bad. They're actually super nice double decker charter buses. AND...the best part is...it is ridiculously cheap. Trips even have seats for $1 depending on when you book. I paid $9.50 total, roundtrip, for my trip to Chicago and back. I just couldn't justify driving for that price! I couldn't make it to Indiana on $9.50 worth of gas. The Megabus IS a total crap shoot though on the experience. Matt and I have had wonderful, quiet rides...but we have also had non-stop baby crying, screaming Russians standing up in the aisle, leaving their luggage all over the place, breast-feeding in the seat right next to you rides. Hopefully this one will be the former.

I'll be spending the day with my sister and her new husband...and probably taking a trip to my favorite place in the city...the Bean! You hear that Jess...we're going!

My mom and my aunt will be picking me up from Chicago on Sunday and then we'll be making our way to the Wisconsin Dells. Apparently there is Wi-Fi so I'll be bringing my laptop in hopes of keeping myself sane with 24-7 family time :) In all seriousness...this should be a great trip. I will miss the hubs though...but I'm sure he'll be taking full advantage of his alone time. I see some major Discovery and History Channel watching in his future...and possibly a week of frozen dinners.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Whatcha doin'??
