CLEVELAND Snow!

I've been enjoying reading so much about all of the snow all you southern gals have been getting! It's so cute when y'all (see, I can speak your language!) get so excited about the fluffy white stuff. It almost makes me forget why I hate it so much?!? And then I step outside.

Today it was in the teens when I left for work with little chance of getting into the mid-20s. It's freezing AND windy AND snowing. Luckily, we don't have any significant accumulation on the ground right now...but we sure have had a rough winter. I've discovered that what I hate the most about snow is how long it sticks around. Any accumulation at all is here for weeks...not hours! I think I could appreciate it much more if I didn't have to look at it everyday...and drive in it for that matter!

Here's a picture of our biggest snow storm last year. I forgot to take one of our snowfall this year...but it is DEFINITELY comparable...if not more this year.

Can you image shoveling our driveway?? It took HOURS!

Here was the snow outside our door. We couldn't open it!

I guess the weather is just something you have to deal with when you live up north. And the worst part is, we never get off work or anything because people here are used to driving in the snow. I've done it my whole life. I always find it so funny when towns shut down after a couple of inches.

We did have a little bit of fun with it though!

This was Matt after jumping into our huge pile of snow that we made after shoveling the driveway. I did it first...he was too scared! Then he said it looked like fun :) Ah...his life would be so boring without me!

Enjoy the snow everyone...and if you ever want a little more...come for a visit! I guarantee we'll have some :)

Hahaha, I took one look at your first picture and started shivering...this southern gal doesn't do so well in cold weather, although it is a nice break for cocoa and snowmen. ;-)

I want snow! It's 80 degrees here in Houston this week - which I'm sure sounds lovely to you, but I prefer cold to hot. Or at least I like a mix of both!
